The impact you'll make
The PMO group in Lam Research's Global Information Systems (Lam IT or Lam GIS) team is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support AI programs for Lam's Global Operations (GOPs) organization with significant engagement across GOPs, enterprise AI (EAI), Information Security, IT data lake and IT enterprise applications (technology) teams. This role will drive planning, execution, program / project governance, and assist with benefits realization for AI/ML/Agentic Automation based capability deployments.
The successful candidate will partner across multiple groups, towers, and geographies to translate AI opportunities into well-structured programs / projects with clear scope, measurable outcomes, practical delivery plans, risk controls, and leadership visibility. This role requires strong program management discipline, communication, executive presence, perseverance, with an ability to operate effectively in a fast-evolving AI environment.
What you'll do
- Lead AI programs and related projects across enterprise applications, data analytics, infrastructure, and information security domains.
- Partner with the BRM and business unit stakeholders to clarify business outcomes and manage project cadence through the program / project lifecycle.
- Develop program charters, project definitions, scope, success metrics, cost estimates, schedules, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Own & drive various project enablement activities across multiple internal functions, e.g., IT - Infrastructure, Data and Applications; Information Security; Ethics & Compliance, Indirect Procurement, etc.
- Coordinate AI solution delivery with product owners, architects, data teams, application teams, InfoSec, infrastructure, vendors, and business units.
- Drive execution using rapid build and deployment cycles prevalent in AI deployments. Define and execute sprint
