About the Role
A leading aerospace automation company is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing programs from concept through customer acceptance.
This role is ideal for an engineering-focused project manager who has successfully delivered custom-engineered equipment while balancing technical execution, customer expectations, budgets, and commercial objectives.
Deal Breakers (Mandatory)
Candidates must meet ALL of the following requirements:
- 7+ years managing complex technical or engineering projects in automation systems, robotics, capital equipment, manufacturing systems, or custom tooling
- Aerospace, aviation, industrial automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing background
- Experience managing projects from requirements through manufacturing, integration, commissioning, and customer acceptance
- Strong experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and customer deliverables
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management experience
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
- Eligible to meet U.S. export control requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace OEM or Tier-1 supplier experience
- Robotics, automated assembly, drilling, fastening, or inspection systems
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Production Readiness
- CAD experience for technical discussions
- PMP Certification
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar engineering programs
- Supplier coordination and long-lead manufacturing projects
