Job Description
AECOM is seeking experienced Environmental Project Manager in the Raleigh, North Carolina office with leaking underground storage tank (UST) investigation/remediation experience (retail petroleum), particularly working with the NCDEQ UST Trust Fund. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate UST investigation/remediation project experience and require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively in a high-performance team.
Responsibilities
- Managing scope, schedule, and budget for large-sized investigation/remediation and construction projects.
- Preparing cost estimates and proposals, and maintaining financial KPIs
- Completing a variety of remedial designs
- Building strong client relationships
- Client and regulatory correspondence
- Technical report writing and review
- Analyzes and applies solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertise
- Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits
- Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
- Coordinating work schedules with AECOM staff and subcontractors
- Responsible for quality control of tasks
- Prepare NCDEQ UST Trust Fund reimbursement paperwork and submit in a timely manner to the Incident Manager
- Will require some regional travel for field visits
- Supervise up to 5 staff
