About the Role: As a Senior Structural Engineering Project Manager, you will lead the execution of complex structural engineering projects while providing technical leadership, mentoring project teams, and supporting department initiatives. This role serves as a senior resource within the Structural Department, balancing project delivery, client management, and staff development.
Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Lead the successful execution of complex structural engineering projects from proposal through construction while maintaining scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and engineering review for Project Engineers, Designers, and EITs while promoting consistent engineering standards.
- Client Management: Develop and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services and repeat business.
- Department Collaboration: Support department leadership with resource planning, proposal development, staffing recommendations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Quality: Perform technical reviews of engineering calculations, drawings, and project deliverables to maintain department quality standards.
- Innovation: Promote adoption of improved engineering tools, workflows, and technologies.
- Responsible Charge: Serve as Project Manager and Engineer of Record for structural engineering projects while providing technical leadership to project teams.
