MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Development Project Manager to join our team in Herndon VA . As a Project Manager on our team, you will lead a team of a high-performing software developers supporting our customer’s mission.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Identifying project needs and required tasks, organizing project activities for a prominent enterprise application, and managing project tasks and objectives to meet the customer mission.
Monitoring and maintaining system requirements from diverse groups of stakeholders, effectively communicating requirements to developers, and working with developers to deliver solutions while managing requirements documentation, timelines, and deliverables.
Engaging with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure requirements are thoroughly and clearly defined and assessed.
Managing all project documentation to include meeting minutes, standards for quality, repeatability, and consistency.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with mission partners.
Identifying, coordinating, and managing an ever-expanding and evolving set of needs with different stakeholders, groups, and offices to ensure goals and timelines can be met.
Communicating with customer and internal leadership to keep them aware of project status and obtaining approvals for project control gates/phases.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma with 10+ years’ experience in Project Management, System Engineering, or Project Integration
5+ years’ experience managing Software Development teams
Experience with Project Management tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience with the Agile development process and serving as a Scrum Master
