Project Director to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative within a major enterprise environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver large-scale technology projects aligned with business priorities
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure achievement of business objectives
Risk, Issue & Decision Management
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues
- Diagnose complex situations and implement effective solutions
- Ensure key decisions (scope, budget, changes) are well-documented and communicated
Project Tracking & Governance
- Establish and maintain roadmaps and milestone tracking for web and mobile initiatives
- Ensure governance frameworks (committees, escalation paths, reporting cadence) are structured and effective
- Produce regular status reports and tailor communication to stakeholders
Portfolio & Capacity Management
- Maintain visibility across all ongoing and upcoming projects
- Align project sequencing with delivery phases and validation checkpoints
- Oversee capacity planning in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
Budget & Performance Management
- Track actuals and forecasts, ensuring budget accuracy and timely updates
- Understand and manage different budget types (run/change/strategic)
- Ensure project delivery meets scope, quality, and financial expectations
Tools & Delivery Oversight
- Maintain up-to-date tracking in Jira and Confluence
- Ensure documentation and project artifacts are centralized and accessible
- Monitor KPIs and delivery performance metrics
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Act as a transformation leader across business and IT teams
- Lead key ceremonies (kickoffs, planning sessions, governance meetings)
- Ensure effective communication with internal teams and external partners
- Manage third-party vendors where applicable
Project Closure
- Ensure formal project closure including retrospectives and documentation
- Transition residual risks and operational ownership to appropriate teams
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale enterprise projects
- Proven experience working in Agile/SAFe delivery environments
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs
