We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical packages valued at approximately £30 m on a landmark £450 m leisure complex development in Manchester.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will plan, coordinate and deliver all electrical works, ensuring programme, quality, safety and commercial objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of electrical packages valued at circa £30 m
- Leading site‑based electrical teams and subcontractors
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, design teams and main contractors
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and project milestones
- Driving health, safety, quality and compliance standards across the project
- Managing procurement schedules and resource requirements
- Monitoring project progress and resolving technical and operational challenges
- Working closely with commercial teams to manage costs, variations and project performance
- Supporting commissioning, testing and handover activities
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the building services or MEP sector
- Strong track record delivering large‑scale electrical installations on major construction projects – preferably with leisure or hotels exposure
- Experience managing substantial electrical packages on complex developments
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong technical understanding of electrical building services systems
- Ability to manage programme, quality and commercial objectives simultaneously
- Relevant electrical qualifications and industry certifications
