Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Delivery : Lead multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through successful delivery and closure. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria with clients and key stakeholders. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards. Manage project performance, governance, risks, issues and change throughout the lifecycle.
- Client & Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project delivery. Build and maintain strong client relationships, manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication, workshops, steering committees and executive reporting. Present project progress, risks, issues and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
- Team Leadership : Lead and motivate cross‑functional delivery teams, including consultants, developers, architects, business analysts, testers and third‑party suppliers. Foster a collaborative, high‑performing team culture that supports successful project delivery. Mentor and coach junior project managers and other team members. Support recruitment, onboarding and capability development across the delivery team.
- Financial & Commercial Management : Manage project budgets, forecasts, financial reporting and cost control. Monitor project profitability, utilisation and commercial performance. Support contract management, Statements of Work (SOWs), invoicing and financial approvals.
- Strategic Consultancy : Support digital transformation and technology implementation initiatives for clients. Contribute to pre‑sales activities, proposals, bids, project estimation and delivery planning. Identify opportunities to expand client engagements and deliver additional consultancy services. Provide guidance on project delivery methodologies and best practice.
- Governance & Continuous Improvement : Establish and maintain appropriate project governance and reporting frameworks. Ensure compliance with organisational policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct project reviews, lessons learned sessions and post‑implementation assessments. Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes and methodologies. Collaborate with the wider Project Delivery team to improve ways of working, delivery standards and organisational capability.
Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years of project management experience delivering complex IT and technology projects.
- Proven experience managing end‑to‑end project lifecycles from initiation through deployment and support, delivering projects on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams including developers, architects, business analysts, testers and third‑party suppliers.
- Strong client‑facing experience within a consultancy, professional services, or managed services environment.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
- Proven track record of stakeholder management at senior leadership and executive levels.
- Experience developing and managing project budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Strong risk, issue, dependency and change management experience.
- Experience creating and managing Statements of Work (SOWs), project plans and delivery roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience delivering digital transformation, cloud migration, systems integration, or enterprise software implementation projects.
- Experience contributing to pre‑sales activities, bid responses, project estimation, and solution planning.
- All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years.
Desirable Qualifications & Certifications
- Degree level or equivalent.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or AgilePM.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or Monday.com.

Working Hours: normal hours will be between 8:00 and 18:00, with an hour for lunch. You will work a 40‑hour week within this period. Start and finish times will be agreed with your line manager. In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to adjust or exceed normal working hours to meet job requirements.
Work location: hybrid remote in London EC4N 7HR with ad‑hoc attendance required for quarterly company meetings and other business meetings in London.
Job Type: Full‑time. Pay: £65,000.00–£70,000.00 per year. Ability to commute/relocate to London EC4N 7HR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
