Senior Technical Project Manager – Office Fit-Out & Infrastructure
Contract: 6-month contract (potential extension)
We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of office fit-out and physical technology infrastructure projects across a growing property portfolio. This is a hands-on delivery role, managing multiple projects involving workplace technology, infrastructure installations and office environments.
You’ll work closely with internal technology teams, construction partners, contractors and third-party suppliers to ensure technology infrastructure is successfully delivered as part of office fit-outs, refurbishments and relocations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of office fit-out and physical infrastructure projects
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across office refurbishments, relocations and new site deployments
- Deliver technology infrastructure including structured cabling, networking, WiFi, AV and telephony solutions
- Coordinate internal technical teams alongside contractors, construction teams and third-party suppliers
- Produce and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance documentation and regular stakeholder updates
- Manage project risks, dependencies, budgets and delivery timelines
- Ensure successful testing, handover and transition into operational support
- Drive projects through structured governance and delivery methodologies
Experience Required
- 10+ years' experience delivering technical infrastructure projects as a Project Manager
- Strong background delivering office fit-outs, office relocations and workplace refurbishments
- Proven experience managing physical technology infrastructure projects including:
- Structured cabling
- Network upgrades and LAN infrastructure
- AV installations and meeting room technology
- Telephony and ISP connectivity
- Comms room and rack installations
- Experience coordinating multiple third-party vendors, contractors and suppliers
- Ability to manage several concurrent projects in fast-paced environments
- Strong stakeholder management across Technology, Property, Facilities and external partners
- Experience producing high-quality project documentation, RAID logs and governance reporting
Ideal Candidate
- Strong understanding of workplace technology and physical IT infrastructure
- Experience delivering technology alongside construction or facilities programmes
- Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Able to manage competing priorities while maintaining high delivery standards
