Role: Senior Construction Project Manager – MEP Factory Location: Hybrid, based from one of our offices in Derby, Manchester or Warrington.
Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) provides a British solution to a global energy challenge, and we are building a world‑leading programme to deliver innovative, scalable nuclear technology. Our Property & Infrastructure team plays a critical role in enabling our industrialisation strategy, leading the development of major facilities that will support manufacturing at scale. The team works at pace, collaborating across the business and with external partners to deliver complex, high‑impact programmes. In this context, we’re looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager – MEP Factory to report into the Head of Property. This is a high‑impact role responsible for leading the delivery of a UK factory site from early site selection through to construction and handover—shaping a critical element of our long‑term business capability.

- Coordinating multidisciplinary delivery across civil, structural and MEP construction activities
- Managing key internal and external stakeholders, including manufacturing, finance, HSE and delivery partners
- Driving programme performance through effective planning, risk management, reporting and continuous improvement
This is a pivotal role at the heart of our programme, and you’ll bring a collaborative, delivery‑focused mindset with the confidence to lead complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
What we’re looking for
- A recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM PMQ) or equivalent experience delivering complex, multi‑year projects
- Experience delivering large‑scale infrastructure or construction projects, ideally within industrial or regulated environments
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary delivery teams and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Knowledge of construction practices, project controls, risk management and commercial delivery principles
We’ll also be interested to hear about your experience of leading full lifecycle project delivery, including early‑stage development, procurement and site execution.
