Overall Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in the Northwest or Yorkshire area, to oversee Multi Utility contracts ensuring that work is completed within agreed timescales. This role is an opportunity to work as part of an team bringing streamlined Multi Utility services to developments across regions.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for a portfolio of schemes in a designated geographical area
- Dealing with all aspects of site work from the initial pre start meeting held by Project Delivery Manager and communicated to the Team Leader to allow multi utility installation connections
- Pre-start with developer site agents, pre-vetting plots and mains, communication with site agents
- Ordering materials for schemes based on approved designs
- Ordering of plant and road opening notices & Traffic Management for the schemes
- Managing direct and subcontract resources on site
- Team Audits and Quality audits to be completed on site
- Undertake measures of work 'on site' and track sheets are completed and submitted
- Ensure teams complete as laids, check and return packs to CAD, and collate all operational paperwork for submission to the asset owners.
- Liaise with water, gas and electric engineering departments to arrange necessary connections / jointing etc.
- Close out NCRs, incident reports, in timely manner as required
- People management in line with company policies and procedures
What we ask from you:
- Be an experienced Multi Utility Project Manager
- Be a good communicator at all levels
- Ability to organise and manage the completion of site works from both an HSQE and commercial perspective
- NRSWA Streetworks
- CSCS Card
- Skills in the use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- Hold Full driving licence
- Hold Site management or Site Supervision Safety Certificate (SSSTS)
- Hold Gas/Water NCO 2 (desirable)
- Hold IOSH or similar (desirable)
- Hold Management qualification (desirable)
