Description:
The Role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to coordinate project activities, maintain project plans and schedules, monitor progress against milestones, track budgets and resource allocation, prepare reports and project documentation, and ensure actions are completed within agreed timescales. You will support project governance processes, facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders, identify and upscale risks and issues, and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
In this role, you will be supporting on the following projects:
- Macclesfield Bridge
- St Marks Bridge
- Primrose Hill Bridge
- Brompton Cemetery colonnades and catacombs
- Albert Memorial
About You
To be considered as Assistant Project Manager, you will need:
- Proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Strong project coordination and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Confident in coordinating meetings, tracking actions and maintaining accurate project documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and elevate issues appropriately
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing responsibilities A proactive and positive approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and continuous improvement.
