The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading provider of integrated facilities and real estate services, delivering projects across a prestigious commercial property portfolio in the City of London.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction, building services, fit-out, refurbishment or facilities projects who enjoys managing multiple projects from inception through to completion while building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from feasibility through to handover.
- Develop project plans, programmes, budgets and risk registers.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
- Monitor project performance, reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
- Manage procurement activities and contractor performance.
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships.
- Chair project meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and value engineering.
- Manage project finances, change control and commercial reporting.
About You
- Proven experience delivering commercial property, fit-out, refurbishment or M&E projects.
- Strong project management experience within construction, facilities management or building services.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, programmes and risk.
- Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
- Strong commercial awareness and contract administration experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Construction, Building Services, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, APM or equivalent) desirable.
- IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS preferred.
