About the Job you are considering
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end transition of an Authorized Fund Manager (AFM) to a Host Authorized Corporate Director (ACD) model. The role requires ownership of regulatory, operational, legal, commercial, and governance workstreams to ensure seamless and compliant migration with minimal impact on clients, funds, and business operations.

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive transition plan covering:
- Governance
- Regulatory approvals
- Fund novation/migration
- Operational onboarding
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders across legal, compliance, operations, distribution, and external service providers.
- Manage regulatory engagement, including interactions with the FCA, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Oversee relationships with key third parties such as Host ACD, depositaries, fund administrators, and custodians.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure accurate data migration, documentation updates, and operational readiness.
- Provide clear governance reporting and stakeholder communication to senior leadership.
- Support testing, implementation, go‑live activities, and post‑transition stabilization.
Key Interview Focus Areas
- Experience managing fund migrations or operating model transitions.
- Knowledge of UK Authorised Funds, AFMs, ACDs, and FCA regulations.
- Managing multiple third‑party service providers during transformation programs.
- Governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Data migration, testing, and operational readiness approaches.
- Stakeholder management in highly regulated environments.
- Examples of delivering complex projects with minimal business disruption.
