Project Manager £45-£60 per hour We currenlty have a contract opportunity with one of our Defence clients, who require a Project Manager to support transformational projects. Working with secure data this is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager that is used to delivering projects in a highly regulated environment such as Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear or Marine. You would work with a team of Solution Architects, Analysts and Integration Engineers so we mainly require organisational skills and a mastery of different project managment methodoligies. You can be based from either of our clients sites in Bristol or Stevenage. You will need to be onsite at least 2 days per week, plus occasional expensed travel to other sites. This is a contract role with an inital length of 6 months, but may have extension opportunities. We can pay a rate of £45.87 per hour PAYE or £60 per hour Umbrella inside IR35.
Skillset/experience required:
- Project Management experience within an engineering environment
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment where information and data is highly secretive
- Strong risk management skills and experience
- A solid grasp of Project Management fundamentals
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- Able to manage multiple workstreams
Desirables :
- Project Delivery in a defence organisation
- Any recent experience of projects involving data movement and/or information security
- Experience managing small bids
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting the role
