Construction Manager / Project Manager
£65,000–£85,000
Company Description
ROAM LP is a boutique London property consultancy specialising in high-end residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments for private clients. From Mayfair penthouses to listed Belgravia townhouses, they manage the full project lifecycle, coordinating with top-tier architects and interior designers to deliver some of the city's most exclusive prime central London refurbishments.
Job Description
As a Construction Manager at ROAM LP, you will take full ownership of site-based delivery for high-end residential projects in London. You will manage the construction programme, lead site coordination meetings, and act as the primary point of accountability for contractors. This is a hands-on role requiring technical grit and a high design sensibility.
Location
London, UK
Why this role is remarkable
- Work on ultra-prime projects including Mayfair penthouses and listed Belgravia townhouses, where quality and attention to detail are paramount.
- Enjoy genuine ownership of delivery and a direct working relationship with the business founder, rather than being just another number at a large consultancy.
- Rapid career growth potential as you help build the operational foundations and project pipeline of an ambitious, growing property consultancy.
What You Will Do
- Own and manage the live construction programme, proactively tracking sequencing, logistics, and critical path risks to prevent delays.
- Chair weekly site coordination meetings and maintain daily oversight of principal contractors and fit-out subcontractors to ensure progress.
- Coordinate the RFI process and design changes between the site teams and architects, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently.
The ideal candidate
- Has 2–6 years of hands-on construction delivery experience, ideally from a London residential contractor like JRL/Midgard, Sir Robert McAlpine, or Berkeley Group.
- Is highly proficient in construction programming and confident in holding contractors and subcontractors accountable during site meetings and negotiations.
- Possesses a strong design sensibility; experience with period building refurbishments or a background in architecture or interior design delivery is a significant plus.
