Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading property and construction consultancy that is continuing to grow following a number of significant project wins. Due to an expanding workload, they are looking to appoint a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or, for the right individual, an Associate Project Manager to join their Manchester office.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an established and highly respected consultancy, delivering a diverse portfolio of predominantly residential developments alongside a range of commercial projects across the North West and beyond.
The Role
You’ll take responsibility for managing projects from inception through to completion, acting as the primary point of contact for clients while coordinating consultants, contractors and wider project teams to ensure successful delivery.
The role offers excellent variety, with a strong focus on residential schemes as well as commercial developments, providing the opportunity to work across multiple sectors within a collaborative and growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver projects through all RIBA stages from initial brief through to completion.
- Manage project programmes, budgets and project risks.
- Administer and manage projects under JCT contracts.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and contractors.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the Project Management team.
About You
- Experience working within a construction consultancy or client-side project management environment.
- Strong project management experience delivering residential projects, with commercial project experience also desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts is essential.
- Experience working under NEC contracts would be advantageous.
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of delivery.
- Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM or equivalent) or working towards chartership would be beneficial but is not essential.
