As Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind successful project execution, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. You will coordinate with internal teams, external clients, and branch offices to deliver exceptional results. This is a key position that will work with Sales, Solution Engineers and Foreman’s.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & ExecutionDevelop detailed project plans with clear objectives, tasks, deadlines, and resource allocationIdentify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing timely resolutionsMonitor project progress actively and take corrective action when necessaryManage project budgets, advise on cost calculations, and report financial performance to managementEnsure quality assurance through appropriate monitoring and evaluationProduce regular progress reports for management and stakeholdersTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead and supervise project teams with professionalism and supportSupport and develop staff, fostering a collaborative working environmentSchedule and allocate work activities to maximize efficiency and resource utilizationProvide training and mentoring to team membersStakeholder Management & CommunicationAct as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients throughout the project lifecycleMaintain regular communication with all stakeholders to align expectationsCoordinate with temporary branch offices, Sales teams, and departmental leadersEnsure clear, consistent communication across all project phasesContinuous ImprovementIdentify and address structural bottlenecks in processes and systemsImplement process and project improvements to enhance customer valueConduct post-project evaluations to establish best practices and lessons learnedFocus on reducing working capital and improving productivityAbout YouExperience & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (Desirable)IPMA or Prince2 certification (Desirable)Strong business experience in a comparable project management rolePreferably experience in rental industries or turnaround activitiesKnowledge of Power and/or Fluid products and rental solutions is a plusExperience with matrix organizations and Lean or Six Sigma projects is a plusExcellent knowledge of Health & Safety with ability to complete comprehensive Site RAMSValid driver’s licenseEssential Skills & Attributes:Excellent project management, organizational, and planning skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills (fluent in local language and English)Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels in a multicultural environmentStrong service attitude with a no-nonsense, action-oriented approachAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent computer skills,Good training and presentation abilitiesAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressureStrong safety awareness and environmental responsibilityAbout us:United Rentals Europe is the industry leader in the European Fluid, Power and Tool solutions market.
