Project Manager – Power Infrastructure (T&D)
Location: Gloucester – Hybrid
Travel: Nationwide – regular site travel, including Monday–Thursday stays where required

ARCA Resourcing is supporting a growing engineering business delivering major power transmission and distribution infrastructure projects across the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong TO, DNO or utility infrastructure experience and NEC4 ECC knowledge to take ownership of projects from start to completion.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering projects typically valued at £1m–£10m , managing programme, commercial performance, risk, quality and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of power infrastructure projects.
- Managing programmes, budgets, resources, risks and subcontractors.
- Managing NEC4 ECC processes, including early warnings and compensation events.
- Working closely with clients including National Grid.
- Leading site teams and multiple subcontractors.
- Managing CVR, forecasting, P&L and risk/opportunity.
- Coordinating outage and system access requirements.
- Supporting safe delivery through CPP, RAMS, ITPs and relevant H&S processes.
About You
We are looking for a Project Manager with:
- 4+ years' project delivery experience , including ideally 2+ years in TO, DNO or utility infrastructure.
- Proven delivery of £1m–£10m projects or major workstreams .
- Strong working knowledge of NEC4 ECC and compensation event management.
- Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
- Good commercial and project controls experience.
- Experience across power infrastructure such as substations, OHL, HV cables, cable routes or associated civils .
- Experience working with major utility clients such as National Grid is highly desirable.
- CEMAR or similar NEC contract management experience is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally, including Monday–Thursday stays where required .
