Have you progressed off the tools but still enjoy being involved in flooring projects?
We're recruiting on behalf of one of a respected, nationwide commercial flooring contractors.
This isn't an office-bound estimating role.
It's ideal for somebody from a commercial flooring background who enjoys getting out to sites, meeting clients, surveying works, pricing projects and seeing them through to completion.
Whether you've come from a surveying, estimating, contracts management or project management background, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role
You'll take ownership of projects from the initial enquiry through to completion, working closely with clients, suppliers and installation teams.
Typical duties include:
- Carrying out site surveys.
- Measuring works and preparing quotations.
- Producing take-offs and tender returns.
- Planning and managing flooring installations.
- Ordering materials.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Managing project costs, programmes and profitability.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
About You
We're more interested in your flooring experience than your job title.
You may currently be working as a:
- Flooring Surveyor
- Flooring Contracts Manager
- Flooring Estimator
- Flooring Project Manager
- Senior Commercial Floor Layer looking to progress
- Commercial Manager within the flooring industry
Experience pricing, surveying or managing flooring projects is essential.
