About the Role
Our client, a fast-growing consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical digital transformation initiatives for their clients in and around Leeds . This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, balancing the flexibility of remote work with essential in-person collaboration at client sites and our central Leeds office. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes defining project scope, managing resources, mitigating risks, and fostering strong communication channels with all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects, a deep understanding of agile methodologies, and the ability to drive change within client organisations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of digital transformation projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to project methodologies and quality standards.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide comprehensive progress reports.
- Ensure the successful adoption of new technologies and processes by client teams.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations related to project deliverables.
- Coach and mentor junior project managers and team members.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the firm.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a strong focus on digital transformation and IT projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM is highly desirable.
- Experience working within a consultancy environment is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the Leeds area and surrounding regions as part of the hybrid model.
