About the Role
Our client, a renowned architectural consultancy in
Edinburgh, Scotland, UK , is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from inception and design through to construction and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple architectural projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, design teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee the preparation of design documents, specifications, and tender packages.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure quality and compliance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing timely solutions.
- Ensure all projects adhere to relevant building regulations, codes, and standards.
- Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication channels among all stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex architectural projects.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction processes, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and common architectural software.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RIBA, RICS) is an advantage.
