About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking charity dedicated to community regeneration in Sunderland , seeks a highly motivated Social Impact Project Manager. Key Responsibilities
- Develop project proposals, including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.

- Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Engage with and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community members, beneficiaries, and partner organisations.
- Oversee the implementation of project activities, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
- Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular progress reports.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Evaluate project outcomes and impact, using data to inform future strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all organisational policies, grant requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among all project participants.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the social sector or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial oversight.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of impact measurement frameworks is highly desirable.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Prince2, PMP) are a plus.
