About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Aviation Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of critical projects within their organisation, based in Liverpool . This role requires exceptional leadership, planning, and execution skills to ensure the successful delivery of complex aviation initiatives, from development to implementation. You will manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects meet quality standards and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalise aviation projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project teams, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Communicate project updates, progress, and challenges effectively to all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout project lifecycles.
- Oversee vendor management and procurement processes for project-related resources.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , preferably within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
