About the Role

This leadership role will involve overseeing complex aviation projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholder relationships, and project risks, playing a crucial part in the strategic development and execution of key initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of complex aviation projects , including aircraft acquisitions, facility upgrades, and new service implementations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Manage project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success and compliance.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status reports to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager in the aviation industry, with experience managing large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in budget management, risk assessment, and resource allocation within an aviation context .
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site collaboration.
- Relevant degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
