About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Blockchain Project Manager to oversee and drive key initiatives within their growing blockchain division in Southampton . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing complex blockchain projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strong leadership capabilities, and exceptional organizational skills. You will act as a key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and senior management, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned blockchain projects.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members and external partners.
- Ensure adherence to project methodologies and best practices in blockchain development .
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong track record in delivering technology projects.
- Demonstrable understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
- Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
- Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies.
