About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Architectural Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects in Glasgow . This role requires a blend of strong architectural understanding and robust project management skills to guide projects from inception through to successful completion. You will be responsible for coordinating project teams, managing client expectations, controlling budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. This is a critical role for an individual who can effectively bridge the gap between design aspirations and practical project execution in a dynamic urban environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of architectural projects, including planning, design, procurement, and construction.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee contract administration and manage project documentation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Requirements
- A degree in Architecture or a related construction management field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in project management within the architectural or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction processes, and building regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and standard architectural software.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing complex projects, preferably within the Glasgow area.
