About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead significant electrical engineering projects from inception to completion in Oxford . This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and teams effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of electrical infrastructure and systems, meeting strict deadlines and quality benchmarks. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of electrical project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations.
- Manage procurement processes, vendor selection, and contract administration for electrical projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, coupled with formal project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, APM).
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in managing large-scale electrical engineering projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methodologies, and relevant UK regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and standard office applications.
