About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee key projects from their Edinburgh office. This role is essential for driving the successful delivery of major infrastructure developments, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will manage all aspects of project lifecycles, from planning and procurement to execution and handover, working with a range of stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of infrastructure projects .
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Manage client relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract administration.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in project management , specifically within the infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, programming, and contract management.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Chartered status (e.g., CEng, MAPM) is highly desirable.
