About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned Civil Project Manager to lead diverse civil engineering projects from initiation to completion from their Wolverhampton base. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple civil engineering projects simultaneously.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee project teams, providing direction, motivation, and performance management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, report on key performance indicators, and manage any deviations from the plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (6+ years) in project management within the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing budgets, contracts, and risk assessment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
