About the Role
Our client, a leading provider of telecommunications solutions, is seeking an experienced and organized Telecoms Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects in the Bristol region. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of project management principles within the fast-paced telecoms industry .
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for telecommunications infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate and manage project team members, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management, providing regular project updates.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and financial allocations.
- Oversee the successful deployment and integration of new telecoms services and technologies.
Requirements
- Proven working experience in project management , with at least 5 years of experience in the telecoms sector .
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) and tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
