Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. Were problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Water Division, working on one of our current three frameworks with Scottish Water. SR21 DV1 : Capital works water and wastewater framework, delivered by the Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA) Joint Venture. Primarily infrastructure and civil engineering project improving network resilient and protecting the environment.
SR21 DV2 : Predominantly MEICA based capital maintenance framework on existing water and wastewater assets. Upgrade, refurbishment and high value capital maintenance projects
SR27 DV4 : The integrated design and construction of civil and infrastructure projects within SW 12 years enterprise arrangement. Project and progharmeme opportunities across the full capital investment programme.

What will you be doing?
You'll drive strategic health, safety, and environmental standards across a portfolio of projects, ensuring all delivery meets time, cost, and quality requirements.
Working with the PMO, commercial, and construction teams, you'll manage forecasting, principal subcontracts, and risk, while maintaining strong SW and CWA relationships.
Youll support design and resource planning, ensure investment and milestone targets are met, and manage effective client communications. Through SHEQ partnership, youll lead incident investigations, close defects swiftly, and set productivity stretch targets, always ensuring robust governance and best practice throughout the project life cycle.
What youll bring Do you have experience managing construction teams and delivering efficiency savings within water, construction or utilities sector? This is essential for the role
Do you have an outstanding stakeholder and client management track record?
Have you got a relevant degree/HND/HNC in construction management, engineering or equivalent?
You need a valid UK driving licence.
Strong record of achieving commercial, safety and programme targets through effective leadership and resource management.
