A fifteen-person studio in West Yorkshire recently redesigned the packaging for one of the most recognisable brands out there, and the attention this work has brought is more than a team this size can currently absorb. That’s why this role exists; this is a Project Manager seat at a studio stepping up.
The Role
The founder describes the studio as being in the hospitality business, using design to do it. This role is where that idea lives. You’ll run multiple concurrent global design projects – scoping, resourcing, traffic, invoicing – as the primary day-to-day contact for the studio’s clients.
The key part here is the relationship. You’ll support the Senior Account Director on larger, more complex work, spot growth opportunities inside existing accounts, and be paired with the founder on new business – someone who can hold their own in a room and talk about creative work through the lens of how it gets made. You’ll also mentor a junior PM finding their feet.
The Package
- £48,000 – £55,000
- Hybrid working, with one day per week from home
- Benefits package includes technology allowance and a years-of-service sabbatical
- A newly built studio space
The Person
You’re a Senior Project Manager, or an account/project hybrid, from a branding or design agency, comfortable moving between the detail of resourcing and the softer work of building client trust. This could suit an Account Director who has done the delivery side and wants a smaller, sharper environment.
