About The Role…
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team in Aldershot working within our Private Networks Division. The Project Manager will be responsible for the management and delivery of working projects and singular works activities, including planning and resourcing of labour, ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are adhered to. Production of both RAMS and SSoW will be client‑dependent. The role also involves arranging the procurement and delivery of materials to site, inclusive of checking all quotations as required. Previous experience working in the High Voltage industry is essential for this position.
- Experience with projects being completed both on time and within budget.
- Ability to react to other leads from existing customers or in‑house and to upsell HV/LV services to existing customers.
- Produce RAMS and SSoW.
- Conduct and produce alterations of work schedules and/or programmes as and when required.
- Undertake site visits to ensure ongoing works are advancing in alignment with schedules/programmes, ensuring client satisfaction and mitigating risks to Ipsum Power (Private Networks) Ltd.
- Communicate with clients as required to assist in the delivery of both new and ongoing works.
- Liaise with the PPM Manager for labour requirements when required for projects and maintenance work.
- Manage the procurement and delivery of materials to site and office locations required for project and maintenance work.
- Manage and procure sub‑contractors via the Ipsum Power (Private Networks Ltd) supplier database.
- Conduct project site inspections against internal requirements (minimum one per month).
About You…
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical and Electronic Engineering / HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Detailed understanding of current HV/LV electrical installation techniques with solid and up‑to‑date knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation and technical advances.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety practice and Risk Assessment.
- CTC and DBS clearance required.
