Job Description
Our client, aleading global investment bank is scaling its Quantitative InvestmentStrategies trading platform.
The opportunity isto significantly accelerate platform delivery. Multiple teams are workingacross the platform simultaneously : quant developers, platform engineers,infrastructure, IT and business and the goal is to make that collaboration moreefficient, more coherent and faster.
The business has strong momentum and is looking for the right person to connectthe dots between these teams and turn that momentum into consistent,demonstrable delivery.
This role exists todo exactly that.
This position is open in London, 3 days on-site/week, long-term commitment.
Responsibilities :
- Own delivery coordinationacross interdependent teams (quant developers, platform engineers,infrastructure, IT and business stakeholders) with no direct lineauthority
- Define and enforce what"done" actually means with each engineering team before anythingis called delivered
- Sort out the testenvironments ensuring nothing is pushed forward without proper end-to-endvalidation
- Track every in-flightworkstream across the QIS platform scope
- Demonstrate working softwareon a week-to-week basis to senior stakeholders
- Identify cross-teamdependencies early and drive resolution before they become programmeblockers
- Translate technicalconstraints and delivery risks into clear, honest narratives forfront-office sponsors including heads of QIS trading, QIS structuring andthe head of Equities
Requirements
- A hands-on implementation orengineering background
- Proven delivery of tradingplatforms or complex technical software programmes
- Demonstrated ability tocoordinate and push delivery across multiple teams without line authority
- Real agile
- Exposure to Python-heavyenvironments, distributed systems, KDB
