Responsibilities
- Join the programme at a pivotal stage of delivery.
- Support the multi‑million‑pound, evidence‑led programme designed to protect, strengthen and grow East Suffolk’s visitor economy during the Sizewell C construction period.
- Play a key role in delivering tourism initiatives across marketing and PR, destination development, grants and business support, sector development, and industry engagement.
- Lead on the development and delivery of projects within the agreed implementation plans.
- Manage complexity and pace, working across partners to ensure activity is aligned, evidence‑led and delivers measurable economic benefit to the visitor economy.
Requirements
- Experience of delivering high‑profile programmes and projects.
- Strong understanding of how national, regional and local government frameworks shape and influence the visitor economy.
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills.
- Confidence in working with a wide range of stakeholders—from local tourism businesses to regional partners and elected members.
- Ability to influence, negotiate and build strong, effective partnerships.
- Experience of managing multiple projects, coordinating stakeholders and overseeing commissioned work or contracts is essential.
