EC Markets is a global FX and CFD brokerage preparing to launch a regulated trading application. We are seeking an experienced Interim / Contract Project Manager to take full ownership of go‑live planning, coordination, and execution.
About the Role
This is a delivery‑critical assignment focused on bringing a regulated app live safely, compliantly, and on schedule. The role sits at the centre of technology, compliance, operations, and commercial teams, with clear accountability for launch readiness and risk management. This role suits a senior contract Project Manager or Programme Manager with experience delivering regulated digital products.
Responsibilities
- Own the master launch plan
- Create and run the single, end‑to‑end launch plan that all teams work from. You will manage timelines, dependencies, and milestones across engineering, QA, compliance, operations, marketing, customer support, and app store submission.
- Ensure regulatory and operational readiness
- Lead go‑live readiness for a regulated trading app, ensuring FCA requirements, compliance approvals, customer onboarding, trading flows, operational processes, and incident management are fully in place before launch.
- Drive cross‑team delivery and accountability
- Act as the central coordination point across technology, compliance, marketing, operations, trading, and senior leadership. You will run launch forums, assign clear owners, elevate risk early, and remove blockers to keep delivery on track.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering complex digital or mobile product launches
- Strong background in regulated financial services or fintech
- Experience working closely with compliance, operations, and engineering teams
- Confident managing delivery plans, risk registers, and senior stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in high‑pressure, fixed‑deadline environments
Required Skills
- Previous interim or contract Project Manager assignments
- Experience launching trading platforms or regulated consumer apps
- Familiarity with FCA‑regulated environments
- Knowledge of KYC, AML, and client money processes
- Experience coordinating App Store submission and approval processes
Preferred Skills
- Contract: Interim / Contract (6 months initial)
