Position: Project Manager: Coalface to Wildspace Yorkshire
Duration: 48 month contract
Hours: 35 hours per week (days will be flexible; working hours will include evenings and weekends)
Office: Working from home and optional local office
This new role will be responsible for delivering our 4 year project: Coalface to Wildspace Yorkshire. We aim to achieve landscape scale habitat creation and restoration across Yorkshire, creating and restoring ponds and improving surrounding terrestrial habitats for the benefit of amphibians and reptiles and a wide range of other wildlife. To encourage widescale community engagement, we will deliver a comprehensive educational, enjoyable, and inclusive programme of activities.
The Project Manager will supervise a Project Assistant and 2 x Trainees.

How to Apply
Person specification:
- Minimum three years’ experience working within a related field preferably at a Project Manager level.
- Sound knowledge of the conservation sector, conservation issues and delivering public involvement conservation activities.
- Good knowledge of the three regions, demographics particularly in reaching communities that are under-served by the Heritage Sector.
- Experience in delivering new projects.
- Experience in working with various partner organisations.
- Experience in arranging and delivering wide ranging activities/events.
- Experience in running activities with schools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in giving presentations and talks, and in writing donor reports.
- Sound financial acumen including experience in budget control.
- Access to and willingness to use green transport, and access to vehicle to attend activities where green transport is not feasible.
