About The Role And The Team
You’ll be joining our Housing Strategy and Development team, working collaboratively across services and particularly closely with our Housing Maintenance teams. Together, we have a strong track record of improving existing homes and delivering new housing opportunities across the New Forest.
You’ll also build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, residents and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll manage a wide range of housing and construction projects from concept to completion. You’ll take responsibility for design development, procurement, contract administration, budget management and on-site delivery.
With a blend of office, home and site-based working, no two days are the same. One day you could be developing specifications and procuring contracts, the next you’ll be on site monitoring progress, working with contractors or helping to resolve technical challenges to keep projects moving forward.
