Position: Electrical Project Manager – HV/LV Installations
Location: Derbyshire office, with sites across the UK
We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established contractor with over 20 year’s experience offering design, installation and maintenance services for HV & LV systems across the commercial and industrial sector.
Electrical Project Manager Job Overview
- Managing electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion across the commercial and industrial sectors, with project values ranging anywhere from £1k to £500k
- Working on a variety of installation, upgrade and maintenance projects of HV & LV systems within agricultural sites, quarries and supermarkets, with systems ranging anywhere from 41V to 33kV
- Overseeing site activities including the installation and commissioning of transformers, substations, HV/LV switchgear, cabling, containment and associated electrical equipment
- Managing the overall health and safety on site, and the compliance/efficient completion of projects
- Working from the company’s head office in Derbyshire and travelling out to sites across the UK
Electrical Project Manager Job Requirements
- Strong technical background within the electrical infrastructure sector, with experience delivering on a range of HV & LV installation/refurbishment projects
- Good knowledge of electrical infrastructure equipment including substations, transformers, armoured cabling, and switchgear systems
- Based within a commutable distance of Derbyshire and happy to travel nationwide
- Hold a full UK driving licence
