In this role, you will be the primary point of health and safety coordination among contractors and regulatory authorities on the construction site. You will establish and implement the OH&S program, oversee compliance with CNESST regulations, and ensure a proactive approach to safety during all project phases. Your leadership will also extend to managing the site safety committee and handling accident investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and implement comprehensive site safety programs
• Ensure compliance with safety legislation and codes
• Monitor safety performance and compliance of contractors
• Facilitate communication with project stakeholders
• Lead safety committee and maintain hazard registers
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in a relevant technical field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction safety
• Familiarity with Quebec safety regulations
• Bilingual in French and English
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills
