We're partnering with a leading electrical contractor seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale Data Center projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is a high-profile, client-facing position offering the opportunity to manage complex projects, mentor teams, and play a key role in driving business growth.
About the Role
Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in Mission Critical and Data Center construction?
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of Data Center and Mission Critical electrical construction projects
- Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and resource planning
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and project staff
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive procurement activities and ensure timely material delivery
- Manage change orders, RFPs, project scopes, and financial reporting
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety performance
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on project performance
- Mentor and develop Project Managers and other team members
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction project management experience
- 5+ years managing large-scale electrical projects within Data Centers, Mission Critical, or Telecommunications Infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, cabling infrastructure, and white space fit-outs
- Experience delivering projects in live operational facilities
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Skills
- Mission Critical construction experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- PMP certification or equivalent industry credentials
- Electrical trade background, Journeyman, or Master Electrician license
Pay range and compensation package
- Competitive base salary up to $240,000+
