What You'll Do
- Manage large-scale, complex, and high-profile AV/IT projects from planning through commissioning and closeout
- Plan and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, and project risks
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, responsibilities, and deliverables throughout project execution
- Lead project implementation teams, assign responsibilities, and ensure teams have the information and resources needed for successful execution
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams
- Partner with estimating and internal teams to identify project resource needs, including labor, logistics, materials, and specialty tools
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and take appropriate action to keep projects on track
- Manage project changes and maintain accurate documentation, including schedules, RFIs, change orders, punch lists, and closeout documentation
- Support client and project team communication, including navigating challenging conversations and resolving project-related concerns
- Coordinate with technical and installation teams during system testing, commissioning, punch list activities, and project closeout
- Provide leadership and guidance to project management and implementation teams as needed
What We're Looking for
- Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience within the AV/IT, technology integration, construction, or related industry
- Experience managing complex projects, including new construction and tenant improvement environments
- Strong understanding of project scope, scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, change management, and risk management
- Experience managing client, contractor, subcontractor, consultant, and internal stakeholder relationships
- Strong written, verbal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management platforms such as MS Project, MS Planner, Teamwork, or similar tools
- PMI PMP and AVIXA CTS certifications preferred, or ability to obtain them within 1 - 2 years
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel for projects, including overnight travel ranging from one night to several weeks as needed
