Demolition Project Manager
Project Locations: South East England
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 DOE + Package (company vehicle, pension, healthcare, etc)
A leading UK specialist civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Demolition Project Manager to join their growing team, delivering complex petrochemical decommissioning and industrial demolition projects across the South East of England.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering challenging demolition, civil engineering, structural, and infrastructure schemes throughout the UK.
The Role
As a Demolition Project Manager , you will take full responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of large-scale industrial and petrochemical decommissioning projects, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing demolition and decommissioning projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, plant, and resources
- Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Producing and reviewing project programmes and progress reports
- Managing client relationships and attending project meetings
- Monitoring project performance, budgets, and commercial aspects
- Identifying and mitigating project risks
- Driving operational excellence across multiple project sites
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Proven experience delivering demolition and/or decommissioning projects
- Experience working on industrial, petrochemical or nuclear projects
- CCDO Card
- Strong knowledge of demolition methodologies, health & safety legislation, and project delivery
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel across projects throughout the South East
