About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager to join their expanding operations in Belfast . This role is critical for overseeing the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from initial development and feasibility studies through to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, whilst managing stakeholder relationships and mitigating risks. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Oversee site selection, permitting, and environmental impact assessments.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with investors, regulatory bodies, and local communities to maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of project management experience, with at least 4 years specifically in the renewable energy sector .
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex energy projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of project finance, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
