The House of Commons’ Digital Services and Real Property is currently looking to staff the Senior IT Project Manager position.
The Senior Information Technology (IT) Project Manager leads complex, enterprise-level IT projects that support the House of Commons’ technology priorities. These projects are large in scope, high impact, and critical to business operations. The role works across multiple teams and areas, including IT infrastructure, facilities, services, and applications, to deliver projects from planning through completion. Working in a matrix environment, the Senior IT Project Manager leads internal project teams and coordinates with stakeholders, including external partners, manages schedules, risks, issues, and quality, tracks progress against approved plans, and monitors expenditures against budgets. The role provides regular updates to senior management, along with recommendations to address issues and mitigate risks, and supports decision-making on major initiatives. The Senior IT Project Manager leads projects using a variety of methodologies, including waterfall, hybrid, and Agile, and oversees contractor work.
This position requires on-site presence four (4) days per week.
