Join a team delivering pipeline integrity projects across Canadian oil & gas assets in a fast-paced project environment. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of projects from early development through in-service activities, including planning, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and construction support. The team environment emphasizes collaboration and provides exposure to multiple short-cycle projects across operational and commercial stakeholders.
Must Haves
- 10+ years in project management within pipeline integrity projects and the oil & gas industry
- Project Delivery System (PDS) , project planning , and budget management
- Risk management , change management , stakeholder communication , and supply chain management
- Pipeline integrity , regulatory , environmental , and construction project delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or technical diploma in a related field with PMP certification or focus
Nice to Have
- Planning and decision-making in a busy and dynamic work environment
- Conflict resolution, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Alignment of project objectives with regulatory and commercial drivers
- Analytical and critical thinking skills with competing timelines
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies and alternative analysis for pipeline integrity projects
- Develop project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Lead project teams and coordinate resources with regional teams, CM&I, and Supply Chain
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, scope changes, and associated cost impacts
- Support onsite construction activities with a focus on safety and quality
- Manage stakeholder communication, project reporting, and issue resolution activities
- Complete post construction monitoring and support multi-year scope development and cost estimation
