A highly regarded architecture and design practice is seeking a design-focused Senior Project Architect / Project Manager to join its San Francisco studio.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced architect who has developed strong project leadership skills but still wants to remain closely connected to design. Working alongside an accomplished and collaborative leadership team, you’ll take ownership of sophisticated commercial and workplace projects for leading organizations, guiding them from early design through documentation and delivery.

You’ll have genuine visibility with senior leadership, the opportunity to lead increasingly complex projects and a clear platform to continue developing your career.
This would particularly suit someone who enjoys the balance of design, client relationships, team leadership and technical delivery, and is looking for a long-term move where they can make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex architectural projects from concept and design development through documentation, permitting and construction
- Manage client relationships, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
- Maintain strong design intent while balancing program, budget, technical and delivery requirements
- Mentor and guide project teams, providing clear direction throughout each stage of a project
- Work closely with studio leadership on project strategy, design quality and successful delivery

- Approximately 8–15+ years of professional architecture experience, ideally within a respected design-led practice
- Strong design sensibility combined with proven project leadership and technical delivery experience
- Experience delivering complex commercial, workplace or other large-scale architectural projects
- Strong client-facing, team leadership and consultant coordination skills
- Proficiency in Revit; architectural licensure is preferred
