Project Manager Felixstowe CIS/LTD - Up to £550/day DOE
Carrington West are working with a specialist contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a £7.5m infrastructure scheme at Felixstowe Port.
The project involves the replacement of twin crane rails within a live port environment, alongside associated heavy civil engineering works.
The Role
You will take overall responsibility for project delivery, managing site teams, subcontractors, programme, commercial performance, health & safety and client relationships.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing the project from mobilisation through to completion
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and engineering teams
- Managing programme, cost, quality and health & safety
- Overseeing construction sequencing, logistics and site interfaces
- Monitoring progress and driving delivery on site
- Liaising with the client and key port stakeholders
- Managing project risks, change and reporting
About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous Project Management experience within heavy civils
- Experience delivering projects valued at £5m+
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction
- Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams
- Strong programme, commercial and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within live or operational environments
- Relevant construction or project management qualifications
