Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in water and wastewater treatment plant construction. This is a unique opportunity for someone who knows how to build complex treatment facilities, lead large project teams, and take ownership of major projects ranging from $100M+ to $400M+ in value.
This role will focus on managing large scale water and wastewater treatment plant projects across Texas, including active and upcoming work in:
- Austin / Central Texas
- Houston
Responsibilities
- Lead construction operations for large water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, subcontractors, and client relationships.
- Drive project performance related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Mentor Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Managers.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Coordinate with field leadership to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, and key stakeholders.
- Support regional growth initiatives and future project pursuits.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, planning, and execution.
- Ability to lead large project teams and mentor developing project managers.
- Thorough knowledge of construction operations, contract administration, budgeting, and project controls.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site as project needs require.
- Degree not required. Relevant project experience and technical knowledge are what matter most.
